Arugula

Arugula (Eruca vesicana L.), commonly known as salad rocket or rucola is an annual plant, originally native to the Mediterranean region and Eastern Asia. Grows up to 75cm tall, with dark green characteristic leaves. It is very popular in the Mediterranean cuisine, where it's famous for its very distinctive smell and a little bit bitter taste. Usually used for salads and often added to seafood. Its taste but also decorative value is widely appreciated in the entire world.

Arugula likes… other types of lettuces – it tastes great and looks delicious, when mixed with various lettuces and vinaigrette sauce.
